Don't forget to set your Goal of the Week. This week, you may want to learn more about 9/11. Please see the ideas below.

What do I want to learn? I want to learn more about 9/11 (September 11th).  What important events happened on 9/11?  Why is 9/11 considered such a tragic day? How did we respond to the events of 9/11? Do you agree or disagree with the way we responded? Who were the heroes of 9/11, and how should we honor them? (What other questions do you have about 9/11?)

How will I know that I have learned it?

I will know I have learned more about 9/11 when I can explain what I have learned in a (pictorial timeline, power point, e-mail, brochure, poster, learning log, project, presentation, interview, etc.)

What will I do if I have trouble learning it? If I have trouble learning it, then I will ask the teacher and other students for help or seek additional sources of information?

What will I do once I have learned it? I will present my project to the class during the WIN period.

Teachers may provide points, Bulldog Bucks, and other incentives for students who achieve or make significant progress toward achieving their Goal of the Week.

How will I know that I have learned it

I will know I have learned more about the lovebug population when I can explain what I have learned in a (power point, e-mail, brochure, poster, learning log, project, presentation, interview, etc.)

What will I do if I have trouble learning it? If I have trouble learning it, then I will ask the teacher and other students for help or seek additional sources of information?

What will I do once I have learned it? I will present my project to the class during the WIN period.
